Job Description

Job Title: Project Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Director to join our team at IBI Group. As a Project Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to deliver projects successfully.
  • Develop and manage project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, project teams, and senior management.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered to the required quality standards, including compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to improve project delivery.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure that projects are delivered in line with company goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the transportation engineering sector.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in business, finance, or project management related areas an advantage.
  • Sound commercial background, including familiarity with contractual conditions and procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.
