About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Senior HR Director to lead our Employee Relations team at Sheridan College. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in labor relations, employee engagement, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide senior leadership and direction on all labor and employee relations activities, ensuring compliance with relevant employment legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Partner with the Office of Inclusive Communities and the Office of General Counsel to leverage existing employment culture and drive transformational change to workplace practices.
  • Lead the Employee Relations Team in developing and implementing organization-wide policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 4-year Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labour Studies, Business, or related field.
  • 9 years of progressive HR experience, including 4 years of leadership experience managing labor relations in a multi-union environment.
  • Strong business acumen, budget management skills, and certification as a Certified HR Professional (CHRP) or Leader (CHRL).

Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
