Key Responsibilities- Assist in the daily care and maintenance of the chicken farm, including feeding, watering, and monitoring the health of the birds.
- Perform tasks such as cleaning and disinfecting coops, handling and processing chicken, and maintaining equipment and facilities.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve farm goals and objectives.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols and regulations.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience in the agricultural industry is an asset.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with a high level of physical activity.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
- Fluency in English or French is required.
The work environment is dusty and may involve exposure to odors. The work setting is varied, with locations changing depending on the needs of the farm.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities- Work Term: Permanent
- Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
