Job Title: Steel Stud Framer

Marvel Drywall & Framing Ltd. is seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team. As a Steel Stud Framer, you will be responsible for preparing layouts in conformance to building codes, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Willing to travel regularly
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Physically demanding
