Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Registration Officer to join our Compliance Team at CST Savings Inc. in a Financial Services role.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the registration process for sales representatives, evaluating and filing applications, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer the registration process, including initial registration, transfers, terminations, and reinstatements
  • Review and process applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and verified
  • Liaise with Compliance Officers to resolve registration issues and provide recommendations for approval or denial
  • Monitor and maintain current dealing representative databases and registrant records
  • Prepare and submit annual dealer/investment fund manager/portfolio manager registration renewal
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education
  • Two to five years of experience in registration within the securities industry
  • Knowledge of Canadian Securities Administrators' National Instruments related to registration and compliance matters
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
  • Effective written and oral communication, and ability to deal with confidential information
