Power Supply Director for Major Transit Projects

We are seeking a seasoned Director to lead our Power Supply & Distribution (PS&D) team in Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of complex transit projects, leveraging their expertise in power systems and distribution networks.

Our Rail, Transit & Mobility team has been instrumental in designing and delivering prestigious transit projects across Canada, including the Canada Line, Calgary West LRT, Edmonton North LRT, the Evergreen Line, and the Confederation Line. We are actively working on various major projects, such as the Trillium Line (Ottawa), Réseau express métropolitain (Montreal), Eglinton-Crosstown (Toronto), and Surrey Langley Skytrain.
Job DescriptionThe Director, PS&D, will report directly to the Vice President of Rail, Transit & Mobility for Canada. Key responsibilities include:
- Leveraging over 15 years of experience in delivering complex multidisciplinary projects, particularly in transit-related power supply and distribution.
- Supporting project execution for all projects involving the PS&D team, which includes medium voltage distribution, traction power substations, overhead catenary systems, and power rail systems within transit systems.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Minimum 15 years' experience in delivering complex transit projects with a focus on power supply and distribution.
- A strong understanding of business development and tender proposal writing.
- Experience in developing budgets and schedules for large-scale projects.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Effective people management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders and build trust with clients.
