Job Summary:

Cineplex is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Amusement Associate to join our team. As an Amusement Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the daily operations and service of our Games Rooms run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general maintenance on all gaming equipment, including troubleshooting and repairing issues in a cost-effective manner.
  • Provide exceptional guest service and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Assist in maintaining the presentation and working condition of the Games Room, including ensuring cleanliness standards are met.
  • Assist in maintaining stock levels of supplies for all game locations and game areas.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures for health and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly checklists and inspections as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years of age.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work under pressure while complying with all relevant legislation.
  • Some mechanical troubleshooting knowledge required.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, customer service, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with monitoring and controlling inventory an asset.
  • Familiarity with point of sale systems will be considered an asset.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic personality.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic.
