About the Role

MGIS is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for our e-commerce projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of project objectives and goals.
  2. Documentation and Communication: Create, deliver, and maintain a variety of documentation, including use cases, user stories, process workflows, screen and interface designs, mockups, functional/business requirements documentation, and project plans.
  3. Agile Methodology: Apply Agile delivery methodologies to facilitate the iterative development process. Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into actionable user stories and tasks.
  4. JIRA Management: Utilize JIRA for efficient issue tracking, task management, and project documentation. Maintain JIRA boards and ensure accurate representation of project progress.
  5. Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases based on documented requirements. Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure that project deliverables meet established standards.
Requirements
  1. Commerce Experience: Demonstrated experience in commerce-related projects is essential. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of e-commerce concepts and workflows.
  2. Agile Delivery Methodology: Proficiency in Agile methodologies, with a proven track record of successfully applying Agile principles to drive project success.
  3. JIRA Skills: Strong knowledge and experience using JIRA for issue tracking, task management, and project documentation.
  4. Documentation Skills: Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including use cases, user stories, process workflows, screen/interface designs, mockups, functional/business requirements documentation, and project plans.
  5. Commerce Platform Experience: Experience working with one or more of the following commerce platforms is a plus:
  • Shopify+
  • VTEX
  • SAP Commerce
  • Spryker
Qualifications
  1. Postsecondary degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  2. Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a successful track record of gathering and documenting requirements for complex projects.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables.
