Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team at JOHAL DRYWALL. As a Drywall Installer, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, cutting and installing metal corner beads, and fabricating and installing suspended metal ceiling grids.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to create smooth surfaces
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
Work Environment

As a Drywall Installer, you will work in various locations, including construction sites and warehouses. You will be required to work in a physically demanding environment, bending, crouching, and kneeling for extended periods.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Dependability, judgement, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
