FAST DRYWALL LTD is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, taping joints, and applying successive coats of compound to ensure a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to specifications
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages to install drywall sheets
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms as needed
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 32 to 40 hours per week
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability are essential
Work Environment:

Drywall Installation Specialists work in a variety of settings, including commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential locations. The work environment can be physically demanding, with frequent bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
