Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Internal Controls to lead our team in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal control environment. As a key member of our Risk Management department, you will be responsible for the oversight and quality assurance of documentation related to Financial Processing Controls and General Entity Controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of significant accounts for SOX
  • Quality assurance of documentation of Financial Processing Controls and General Entity Controls
  • Support quarterly SOX certification results and their impact on overall SOX assertion
  • Support SOX Reporting, audits, and projects to Finance Shared Services Risk Management review, Disclosure Committee, and Audit Committee
  • Support external audit of SOX controls

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A professional accounting or auditing designation (CPA or equivalent, or CIA), or progression towards these certifications
  • 3-6+ years of experience in Controls, SOX controls, or Service Organization Control (SOC 1)
  • Some understanding of audits or audit experience with financial statements/financial processes
  • Strong Excel skills, including Pivot tables and formulas
