Job SummaryThis role is accepting candidates at both the Advisor and Sr Advisor level. Qualified applicants will be evaluated for the level that aligns most closely with their education, experience, and qualifications. As a Senior Risk Management Specialist, you will play an active role in assisting and providing input with the administration, development, analysis, and management of the Corporation's insurance programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in providing insurance advice, guidance, and due diligence for business development projects.
- Collaborate with external brokers and insurers in the development, analysis, placement, monitoring, and renewal of the Corporation's insurance policies and risk transfer strategies.
- Act as support in preparing reports and presentations to various senior committees.
- Service a broad client base of Nutrien administrators, managers, and staff and the outside community at large and also interact regularly with brokers, adjusters, and insurers.
- Bachelor's Degree in business administration, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Risk Management or equivalent.
- Minimum of five years of experience in a corporate finance environment or equivalent with relevant experience in insurance or risk management industry.
- Enrolment in or completion of a program in one of the following professional industry designations will be a definite asset: CRM, FRM, CIP, and FCIP.
- Capability to manage multiple competing priorities and are keen to work in a dynamic, global, and cross-functional environment.
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
