About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer to join our team at Haleon. As a key member of our manufacturing systems team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining serialization systems for our manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implementation: Design and implement serialization systems (PIMMS) to manufacturing sites, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product and quality.
  • Standard Setting: Create efficient and effective operating and technical standards.
  • System Management: Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure, ensuring their availability and addressing vulnerabilities.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with other team members, including managers and manufacturing engineers, to lead by example and ensure effective coordination and alignment across the organization.
  • System Availability: Proactively address any issues to maintain optimal system performance.
  • Application Performance Monitoring: Identify solutions and collaborate with vendors to build and assist in implementation.
  • Security and Backup Strategies: Ensure data protection and system reliability.
  • Documentation and Support: Author and maintain system documentation, procedures, and knowledge-based articles, and provide 2nd and 3rd level support.
  • Vendor Liaison: Collaborate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience supporting manufacturing systems or working in a manufacturing environment.
  • A background or qualification in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL or similar processes and practices.
  • Broad expertise in infrastructure components, such as networks, OS, AD, firewalls, and solution design.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with serialization systems or manufacturing execution systems.
  • Basic project management experience.
  • Basic level scripting.
  • Basic level SQL.
