We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at TriMac Engineering in Halifax, Nova Scotia. As a key member of our electrical engineering group, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering innovative electrical systems for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead electrical design teams to deliver high-quality electrical systems for buildings and infrastructure projects.
- Develop and implement sustainable design solutions that meet the needs of our clients and the environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are executed on time and within budget.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate electrical engineers and designers.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and code and standards.
- Registered P.Eng. with Engineers Nova Scotia or another Canadian province.
- 10+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience in designing power systems, lighting, fire alarm, communications, and other related systems for buildings.
- Excellent technical writing, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code, National Building Code of Canada, and other relevant codes and standards.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, initiative, and ability to lead electrical teams to success on multidisciplinary projects.
