About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Wye Liquor. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, calculate daily/shift payments received, and reconcile with total sales.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency in a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain accurate records, handle cash and credit transactions, and ensure a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain attention to detail, and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, team player, reliability, and ability to work a 40-hour workweek.
