Job Title: Cabinetmaker

At STARFLEET CONSTRUCTION INC., we are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating custom cabinets and furniture pieces that meet our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate woodworking machines to cut, shape, and form parts and components
  • Prepare specifications for custom-made cabinets that maximize storage
  • Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces using hand tools
  • Study plans and specifications to ensure accuracy
  • Trim joints and fit parts together to form complete units
  • Sand and finish wood surfaces to a high standard
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Supervise other workers and estimate costs and materials
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
