Greenhouse Horticulturist

We are seeking a skilled Greenhouse Worker to join our team at Sipkens Nurseries. As a Greenhouse Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of our greenhouse crops.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and maintain the greenhouse environment, including equipment and tools.
- Assist with the harvesting of seedlings and transplanting of plants.
- Perform weeding and pruning tasks to ensure optimal plant growth.
- Monitor and control the temperature, humidity, and light levels within the greenhouse.
- Assist with the preparation of soil and fertilizers for plant growth.
The greenhouse environment can be physically demanding, with frequent bending, crouching, and standing for extended periods. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, but with a high level of attention to detail.
Requirements- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
- Availability to work 40 to 42 hours per week.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting.
