We are seeking a skilled and motivated Greenhouse Worker to join our team at Sipkens Nurseries. As a key member of our greenhouse team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy growing environment for our plants.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and maintain the greenhouse, including pots, trays, and equipment
- Harvest and transplant seedlings and rooted cuttings
- Weed and prune plants to ensure optimal growth
- Pot and re-pot plants as needed
- Assist with the production of a variety of plants, including ferns, native plants, perennials, bedding plants, and seasonal plants
As a Greenhouse Worker, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and attention to detail. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel to perform tasks. You will also be required to work in a physically demanding environment with hot temperatures.
