We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Corporate Underwriting Project Lead to join our team at Northbridge Financial Corporation. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead key corporate underwriting projects and provide strategic guidance to the team.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of complex corporate underwriting projects. You will work closely with Underwriting Directors and other stakeholders to identify project scope, risks, timelines, and measures of success.

As a seasoned project manager, you will have excellent leadership abilities to guide and direct project staff, create and maintain project management documentation, and implement change management plans.

You will also be responsible for building strong relationships with business areas both inside and outside the work unit, as well as identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance operational efficiency.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A post-secondary education and/or equivalent on-the-job experience;
  • PMP designation or equivalent project management experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry;
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in a Project Management role; and
  • Excellent understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (both Waterfall and Iterative).

In addition, you will need to have knowledge of use case methodology, knowledge of change management principles and methodologies, and strong critical thinking, analytical capabilities, and decision-making skills.
