Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Hotel Housekeeper to join our team at 17H Inc. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel rooms and public areas.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position with an estimated salary range of $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience. You will work approximately 30-35 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a high standard of cleanliness;
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to prevent dust buildup;
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to keep surfaces clean and tidy;
  • Make beds and change sheets to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction;
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guests as needed;
  • Stock linen closets to maintain adequate supplies;
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to meet health and safety standards;
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to prevent the spread of illness;
  • Handle and report lost and found items to assist guests in recovering their belongings;
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items in a timely and courteous manner;
  • Provide basic information on facilities and services to guests;
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and hygienic environment;
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene as needed;
  • Launder clothing and household linens to maintain a high standard of cleanliness;
  • Mend clothing and linens to extend their lifespan;
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain the overall cleanliness of the hotel;
  • Shop for food and household supplies to restock inventory;
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and attractive appearance;
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction;
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner;
Requirements
  • You must be available for shift or on-call work as required;
  • You must be available for the advertised start date;
  • You cannot be a current student;
  • You must be legally able to work in Canada;
  • You may be required to relocate for this position;
