Forklift Operator Job Description

Dass Rebar is seeking a skilled forklift operator to join our team in loading and unloading rebar. The ideal candidate will have experience operating counter-balance forklifts with a focus on efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load rebar on trailers for daily shipments
  • Move material to assigned staging areas as required
  • Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
  • Transport material to production workstations
  • Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
  • Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
  • Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
  • Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
Requirements and Skills:
  • Proven 2 years experience as counter-balance forklift operator
  • Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
  • Excellent physical condition and coordination
  • Valid Counter-balance forklift certification to operate forklifts

This is an afternoon shift position.
