About the Role:

Southbridge Care Homes is seeking a highly skilled Regional Clinical Consultant to join our team. As a Regional Clinical Consultant, you will play a critical role in delivering support and clinical expertise to our portfolio of Long-Term Care and Retirement homes across Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and leadership consultation on quality improvement and risk mitigation to homes in the form of quality indicators and CMI improvement, risk identification and mitigation, auditing, clinical evaluations, and project management.
  • Assist Executive Directors with recruitment, selection of new Directors of Care and other clinical leadership positions at the home level.
  • Mentor teams through education and coaching, promoting a culture of excellence in senior care.
  • Utilize your expertise in IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) to support our homes in maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Travel across Ontario as assigned, with a reliable vehicle, to provide on-site support and consultation to our homes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • Current RN certification with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Long-Term Care in leadership roles (required)
  • Familiarity with the FLTCA, 2021 and the RHRA regulations
  • Ability to deal with crisis situations promptly and effectively
  • Advanced clinical expertise and Long-Term Care experience to guide, direct, educate and mentor teams
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification
  • Current vulnerable sector police check (within 6 months)
