What is the opportunity?

As a Regional Trust Consultant, you will advocate for RBC Royal Trust offerings and solutions tailored for the Canadian Banking sector within your assigned area. You will collaborate with internal partners to address the needs of clients effectively. Your expertise in sales and teamwork will be essential, as the success of this role hinges on cooperative efforts. By becoming part of Royal Trust, you will significantly influence the lives of clients by assisting in estate settlements, safeguarding their legacies, and enhancing the communities they inhabit. Our team is dedicated to ensuring clients attain peace of mind both now and in the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside fellow Regional Trust Consultants to provide comprehensive support to Personal Canadian Banking within your designated region.
  • Promote Royal Trust services to the Personal Canadian Banking clientele.
  • Collaborate with Financial Planners and Investment Advisors to enhance awareness of Royal Trust products and services.
  • Implement consistent national initiatives to elevate the visibility of Royal Trust offerings.
  • Strengthen customer loyalty by leveraging the full spectrum of RBC services.
  • Adhere to all RBC policies during client interactions and exercise due diligence in all tasks.
  • Successfully partner with both internal and external clients to meet and surpass key sales targets.

Qualifications for Success
Essential Requirements

  • A university degree and completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC).
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the financial services sector with a solid understanding of estate and trust administration.
  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated sales experience, including proficiency in funnel management and tracking tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Financial Planner diploma awarded by the IQPF.
  • TEP designation.
  • Prior experience in the Estate and Trust sector.
  • Background in the legal profession.
