The Clinical Solutions Consultant plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional training and support for ZEISS products within the healthcare sector. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and customer service skills to ensure seamless integration and operation of advanced diagnostic equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site training sessions across designated regions, proactively engaging with clients to schedule appointments and address inquiries.
- Oversee the installation of medical devices in clinical environments, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
- Act as a professional representative of ZEISS, facilitating the transfer of data from legacy systems to new installations.
- Maintain regular communication with Clinical Application Specialists in neighboring regions to coordinate training for shared clients.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients regarding administrative and technical matters, seeking assistance when necessary.
- Foster effective communication with team members, management, and technical support staff to enhance customer service and collaboration.
- Begin identifying potential sales opportunities through client interactions.
- Utilize available technology tools to manage administrative tasks efficiently, ensuring timely completion of reports and documentation.
- Continuously update knowledge of ZEISS products and adhere to established guidelines and procedures.
- Demonstrate adaptability in response to changes in territory assignments.
- Participate in events such as conventions and seminars, providing setup and training on ZEISS equipment as required.
- Install and configure digital solutions and connectivity systems at client sites.
- Work closely with clients to assess their needs and recommend suitable connectivity options.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate network infrastructure and identify potential challenges.
- Resolve connectivity issues promptly to minimize operational disruptions.
- Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to clients regarding the use and maintenance of connectivity solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful deployment and integration of solutions.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, or life sciences is preferred; an MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.
- Relevant industry certifications are preferred but not mandatory; familiarity with the diagnostic ophthalmic sector is essential.
- A minimum of three to five years of experience in an ophthalmology clinic or related field is required.
- Knowledge of diagnostic techniques such as visual fields, lensometry, and biometry is beneficial.
- Experience with networking equipment installation and configuration, including routers and switches, is necessary.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP and VLAN, is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective client interactions.
- Ability to tailor training sessions to meet the specific needs of healthcare professionals.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and late evenings.
