Restaurant Operations Manager

BAR BURRITO MEXICAN GRILL is seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Operations: Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, inventory, and supplies.
- Cash Handling: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and provide exceptional customer service.
- Staff Management: Conduct performance reviews, enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
- Inventory Management: Cost products and services, and ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
- Transportation: Own transportation or public transportation is available.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Free Parking: Free parking available on site.
- Work Term: Permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 30 hours per week.
