Job Title: Manufacturing Process Improvement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Process Improvement Specialist to join our team at Pharmascience Inc. in Montreal, Quebec.

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with expertise in manufacturing process improvement to drive innovation and efficiency within our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement, developing and implementing strategies to enhance manufacturing processes, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sciences - Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology and/or Engineering, and 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical environment, preferably in manufacturing, technology transfer, formulation, or development of manufacturing processes. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French are essential, as well as strong analytical skills, dynamic self-sufficiency, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in supplier selection, evaluating new sources of raw materials and excipients
  • Develop and implement process improvement strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Responsible for manufacturing and packaging of process improvement trial batches and feasibility batches for source changes
  • Perform physical tests on raw materials and mixtures of powders, prepare queries for analytical tests, and write process improvement and source change reports
  • Participate in the creation/revision of manufacturing masters, supporting technical writers and revising production masters

Requirements:
