We seek an Electromechanical Manufacturing Specialist - Injection to join our dynamic team at the St-Laurent sewing manufacturing and warehouse center.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure and calibrate injection molding machines for optimal performance.
  • Maintain injection molding equipment through regular preventive maintenance, ensuring pneumatic, hydraulic systems, electrical components, and mechanical parts function within specifications.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Analyze machine functions using diagnostic tools and make necessary adjustments.
  • Review and troubleshoot PLC/HMI programs to resolve equipment problems.
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and production measurements accurately.
  • Update technical manuals accordingly with changes made to machines.
  • Collaborate with production teams to optimize machine parameters and processes for quality results.
  • Coordinate with engineering, production, and maintenance staff to implement improvements and process upgrades.
  • Maintain adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations.

Required Education and Skills:

  • Degree in Electromechanical Automation or equivalent experience required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven maintenance experience, preferably in an injection molding environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bilingualism (written and spoken) is an asset.
