Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in Cardiac Care. This is a leadership role that requires expertise in cardiac care and a strong ability to lead and direct staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Cardiac Care team
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and programs to improve patient care and quality of services
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve excellence in the delivery of services and patient care
  • Provide expert consultation to team members and other healthcare staff

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in nursing and current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
  • A minimum of five years' recent related experience working in a healthcare setting with a focus in cardiac care and in a progressive leadership role
  • Canadian Nurses Association certification in cardiac care or membership in related provincial, national, and/or international professional associations
