Nurse Practitioner

BC Cancer is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Prince George, BC. As a Nurse Practitioner - Cancer Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive cancer care to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and treat patients with various types of cancer, including hematological, lung, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, breast, brain, and head and neck cancers.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic investigations as needed.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout the cancer journey.
- Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Minimum of four (4) years of recent, relevant clinical nursing experience.
- Eligibility to complete the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) through the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- A competitive salary range of $145,739 - $160,313/year.
