Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Sushi J. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budget Management: Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to optimize profits, including forecasting revenue and expenses, and making adjustments as needed.
  • Menu Planning and Pricing: Develop and implement menu plans and pricing strategies to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of staff members to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, ingredients, and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive excellent service, including responding to complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Participate in marketing and promotional activities to drive sales and increase customer loyalty.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, including maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze reports to track sales, expenses, and customer satisfaction, and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a restaurant management role, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30-40 hours per week.
