Restaurant Manager Job Description

Sushi J is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team and drive business growth. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and implementing strategies to increase revenue and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to optimize profits, develop and implement cost-saving measures, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of staff members, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff, to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Menu Planning and Pricing: Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement menu changes, pricing strategies, and promotions to drive sales and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, address complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner, and maintain a positive reputation for Sushi J.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Participate in marketing initiatives, develop and implement promotional strategies, and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in restaurant management or a related field
  • College diploma or equivalent in hospitality, business, or a related field
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
