Job Overview

Carecor is a leading healthcare staffing provider seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our team in Halifax Regional Municipality and surrounding area hospitals.

Estimated Salary:

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

As a Registered Nurse with Carecor, you will provide high-quality patient care according to the standards of Nova Scotia College of Nursing and the healthcare facility where assigned. Your duties will include:

  • Providing direct patient care in a medical/surgical setting
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
  • At least 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care or long-term facility
  • Proof of competency in medical/surgical skills
  • Current immunization for MMRV, tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, and hepatitis B
  • Proof of negative TB skin test within the past one year or negative chest x-ray within the past five years
  • Current BCLS-HCP certification
  • Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate
  • Willingness to undergo a Vulnerable Sector Police Check
