Clinical Nurse Leader

Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Leader to join our team.
About the OpportunityThis permanent full-time position offers a salary of $40.15 - $53.35 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
As a Clinical Nurse Leader, you will provide clinical and professional leadership, participating in the planning and provision of care and identifying issues that have potential or actual impact on patient care. You will work collaboratively with the Health Services Manager to ensure high-quality patient care and exhibit exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Registered Nurses
- Five (5) years recent clinical nursing experience
- Progressive leadership and/or supervisory experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills in a healthcare environment and ongoing professional development
- Evidence of commitment to a healthy workplace and the use of best practices in building/sustaining staff competencies, ensuring good communication and involvement of staff and clients/residents in decisions which affect them
You must possess strong human resource management, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work within Microsoft Office and effectively identify and report budgetary pressures.
