We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team working in hospitals throughout the Halifax Regional Municipality and surrounding area. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care according to Nova Scotia College of Nursing standards and facility policies.

About the Job

Under the direction of the facility charge nurse, you will work independently to foster an environment of optimal physical, social, and emotional well-being for patients. You will be assigned to one facility for a full 8-12 hour shift. This is a Casual position with flexible shifts.

Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
  • 2 years of nursing experience in the acute care/long-term facility
  • Proof of competency with medical/surgical skills
  • Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (MMRV), tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, and hepatitis B
  • Proof of negative TB skin test within the past one (1) year or negative chest x-ray within the past five (5) years
  • Current BCLS-HCP (HealthCare Provider)
  • Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate
  • Willing to undergo a Vulnerable Sector Police Check
