Job Title: Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic

NCSG Hauling & Rigging is seeking a skilled Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our maintenance team in the Bonnyville, AB region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and service of property, equipment, and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily maintenance of property, equipment, and vehicles throughout the facility.
  • Inspect and evaluate operating conditions of equipment and vehicles.
  • Modify existing equipment and systems to keep the facility in good running order.
  • Read, understand, and follow hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical diagrams.
  • Ensure all maintenance is completed in accordance with established department policies and safety regulations.
  • Attend training sessions to update technical knowledge as needed.
  • Assume responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements:
  • Valid and current apprenticeship must be in place.
  • Locals preferred, if not local must be willing to relocate.
  • Valid Driver's License, must provide current five year commercial driver's abstract that meets our Acceptable Driver's Standard policy.
  • Possess a minimum of 1 years' experience working with Heavy Trucks and Trailers.
  • First Aid required.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment A&D testing required.
Position Details:
  • Regular shift is Monday to Friday with evening and weekend overtime as needed.
  • Field service calls will be required.
  • Must have own tools for start of work term and remove them at end of work term at own expense.
  • Must be a member of or willing to become a member of CLAC.
