Personal Support Worker

Bloom Care Solutions is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities- Personal Care: Provide personal care to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with Daily Activities: Support clients with activities of daily living, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
- Transfer and Ambulation: Assist clients with safely transferring and ambulating.
- Delegated Tasks: Perform delegated tasks as required by clients and their families.
- Promote Independence: Encourage and support clients to maintain their independence.
- Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
- Communication: Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, families, and other stakeholders.
- Safety: Promote a safe environment for both clients and staff.
- PSW Certification: Must have a Personal Support Worker certification or diploma.
- First Aid and CPR: Must have a First Aid Certificate and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate within 1 year.
- Police Record Check: Must have a Police Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
- TB Test and Immunizations: Must have a current TB test and up-to-date immunizations.
