We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Butcher - Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Milton Halal Meat. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring that all meat products are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and Prepare Meats
Clean and trim meats to prepare for processing or cutting, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and safety.
Prepare Special Cuts of MeatPrepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers, using manual cutting utensils and adhering to our strict quality control procedures.
Wrap and Package MeatsWrap and package prepared meats in a clean and efficient manner, ensuring that all products are properly labeled and stored.
Remove Bones from MeatRemove bones from meat products, using specialized equipment and techniques to ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality and safety.
Weigh Meats for SaleWeigh meats for sale, using accurate scales and measuring equipment to ensure that all products are properly priced and labeled.
Cut Poultry into PartsCut poultry into parts, using manual cutting utensils and adhering to our strict quality control procedures.
Price Meat ProductsPrice meat products, using our pricing system and ensuring that all products are properly labeled and stored.
Grind MeatsGrind meats, using specialized equipment and techniques to ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality and safety.
Prepare Special DisplaysPrepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products, using creative and visually appealing techniques to showcase our products.
Requirements- Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
LanguageFluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
Work Experience1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail sales or food preparation environment.
Work SettingButcher shop or supermarket/grocery store environment.
Physical CapabilitiesAbility to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Personal SuitabilityAccurate, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
