Butcher - Retail Sales Associate

Milton Halal Meat is seeking a skilled Butcher to join our team in a retail sales and preparation role. As a Butcher, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and cutting meat products, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Meat Preparation and Cutting
- Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting
- Cut and trim standard cuts of meat to customer specifications
- Remove bones from meat and prepare special cuts as ordered
- Retail Sales and Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
- Price and package meat products for sale
- Operate a cash register and process transactions
- Store Maintenance and Organization
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the meat department and surrounding areas
- Restock shelves and displays as needed
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or food service environment
- Language and Communication
- Fluency in English
- Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Fast-paced environment with frequent standing, walking, and lifting
