As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and presenting high-quality meat products, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Meat Preparation and Presentation: Clean and prepare meats to prepare for processing or cutting, prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers, cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat, and wrap and package prepared meats.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, answer customer inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, receive and store meat products, and rotate stock to ensure freshness and quality.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean equipment and machinery, including manual cutting utensils, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail sales or meat preparation role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Setting: Butcher shop or supermarket/grocery store environment.
