Location: Various locations across the province of Alberta.

Radiation Therapists administer targeted radiation treatments to patients with cancer and other diseases. This role requires a high level of skill and expertise in operating and maintaining radiation equipment safely, as well as monitoring patients during treatment and managing side effects. Collaborating with oncologists and other healthcare professionals is also a crucial aspect of this position. Accurate patient records and treatment plans must be maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and position patients for radiation therapy.
  • Operate and maintain radiation equipment safely.
  • Monitor patients during treatment and manage side effects.
  • Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field.
  • Certification from ARRT or equivalent in Radiation Therapy.
  • Strong knowledge of oncology and radiation safety.
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills.
