Your Opportunity:

As a Medical Radiation Technologist III at Alberta Health Services, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of MRI and CT/IR departments. This leadership position requires exceptional organizational skills to prioritize workflows, monitor staff performance, and maintain high-quality patient care.

About the Role
  • Provide leadership and vision to support department goals as they relate to AHS overall mission, vision, goals, philosophies, and policies.
  • Supervise staff, organizing daily work, monitoring inventory levels, and assigning tasks.
  • Facilitate staff orientation, education, and training, including Annual Continuing Education (ACE) requirements.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and adjusting patient and staff schedules to ensure effective and efficient services are provided. You will also participate in recruitment, interviewing, and selection processes, and identify staff development needs.

Requirements
  • Completion of a diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist program.
  • Active or eligible registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT).
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in Diagnostic Imaging, preferably in a supervisory or management role. Leadership or change management education and skills are highly desirable.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
