BrokerLink, a renowned Canadian insurance brokerage company, is seeking a skilled Strategic Human Resources Expert to join its team in Halifax, NS.

About the Role:

This key position involves providing expert guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations, performance management, disability management, and change initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have a University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related area, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. CPHR certification is required, and knowledge of Employment Legislation for NS, NB, and NL is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and direction to managers and employees on HR matters
  • Actively participate in conflict resolution and complaint handling
  • Develop and deliver training programs for managers and employees
  • Facilitate HR programs and initiatives as required
