We are seeking a skilled Character Artist to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a Character Artist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality character models and textures for our games.
Responsibilities- Design and create 3D character models and textures using Maya, Z-Brush, and Photoshop.
- Develop and implement high-fidelity 3D modeling and sculpting techniques.
- Work with the game engine to ensure seamless integration of character models and textures.
- Collaborate with other artists and developers to ensure consistency and quality across the game.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in character creation.
- 3+ years of experience in character creation and 3D modeling.
- Proficiency in Maya, Z-Brush, and Photoshop.
- Experience with high-fidelity 3D modeling and sculpting techniques.
- Knowledge of PBR texture and material workflows.
- Ability to work with content-driven game engines.
- Strong understanding of character design and anatomy.
- Photo-real character modeling and texturing.
- Concept to model experience is a plus.
We offer a competitive salary range of $73,200 - $101,700 CAN Annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including vacation time, sick leave, and extended health/dental/vision coverage. Electronic Arts is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
