Job Title: Human Resources Co-ordinator

Fleetex Transport Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Co-ordinator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing human resources policies and programs, advising managers and employees on HR matters, and mediating labour disputes and grievances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs
  • Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements
  • Mediate labour disputes and grievances
  • Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales
  • Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs
  • Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs
  • Research employee benefits and health and safety practices and recommend changes
  • Hire, train, and supervise staff
  • Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • 40 hours per week
  • English as the primary language of work
