Job Title: Human Resources Co-ordinator

Fleetex Transport Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Co-ordinator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic support to our employees and management team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement human resources policies and programs to support the company's goals and objectives.
  • Provide guidance and advice to managers and employees on human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.
  • Mediate labour disputes and grievances in a fair and impartial manner.
  • Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Coordinate employee performance and appraisal programs to support employee development and growth.
  • Research employee benefits and health and safety practices to recommend improvements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure the effective delivery of HR services.
  • Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Judgement, organized, team player, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and values and ethics.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
