About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team at Blenz Coffee. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize all equipment, utensils, and work areas to maintain a high level of hygiene and sanitation.
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
    • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Food Preparation and Presentation
    • Portion and wrap foods according to company standards.
    • Prepare and present beverages to our guests.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for our guests.
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals and objectives.
    • Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) on a regular basis.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus and a team player attitude are essential for this role.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, part-time position with a variable schedule of 30-35 hours per week. The language of work is English.
