We are seeking a skilled Claims Technical Consultant to join our team at Intact. As a Claims Technical Consultant, you will play a key role in reviewing and updating claims standards and procedures, providing technical support to managers, and ensuring consistency of responses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Claims Standards and Procedures: Review and update claims standards and procedures to ensure they are accurate and effective.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to managers to help them make informed decisions.
  • Consistency of Responses: Ensure consistency of responses to claims to maintain high-quality service.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with different regions to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Underwriting Ties: Maintain close ties with underwriting teams to stay updated on insurance products and underwriting.
  • Insurance Form Revision: Participate in insurance form revision projects to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Education: University degree or relevant experience.
  • Insurance Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of property insurance.
  • Claims Experience: Minimum 10 years in insurance claims, 5 years in property claims.
  • Training Experience: Experience in training is an asset.
  • Research and Analytical Skills: Strong research, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead meetings and projects.
  • Organizational Skills: Organizational skills.
  • Bilingualism: Bilingualism is considered an asset.
