Farm Worker

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Farm Worker to join our team at Greatland Farms LTD.
Key Responsibilities:- Clear fields of wood and stones to prepare for planting
- Clean and maintain greenhouses to ensure optimal growing conditions
- Mix and apply fertilizers to promote healthy crop growth
- Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure maximum yields
- Remove weeds and other unwanted vegetation to prevent competition for resources
- Fertilize and spray crops to control pests and diseases
- Harvest crops at the optimal time to ensure maximum quality and quantity
- Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures to protect employees and the environment
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations
- Supervise and coordinate the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
- Hire and train staff to ensure a skilled and motivated team
- Perform general farm duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the farm
Work Term: Permanent
Work Language: English
Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
