We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Farm Worker to join our team at Greatland Farms LTD. As a key member of our agricultural team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our farm, from planting and cultivating crops to harvesting and maintaining farm equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Crop Management: Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure optimal growth and yield.
- Weeding and Fertilization: Regularly inspect and remove weeds, and apply fertilizers to promote healthy crop growth.
- Harvesting: Assist in the harvesting of crops, including hand harvesting vegetables and seed cutting.
- Machinery Maintenance: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
- Team Supervision: Coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers.
- Health and Safety: Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
