About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Farm Worker to join our team at Greatland Farms LTD. as a permanent employee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Field Maintenance: Clear fields of wood and stones to ensure optimal crop growth.
  • Greenhouse Operations: Clean and maintain the greenhouse to provide a healthy environment for crops.
  • Fertilization and Irrigation: Mix and apply fertilizers, and ensure proper irrigation systems are in place.
  • Crop Management: Plant, cultivate, and harvest crops to meet production targets.
  • Weeding and Pest Control: Regularly inspect and control weeds and pests to prevent damage to crops.
  • Harvesting: Harvest crops at the optimal time to ensure quality and quantity.
  • Team Leadership: Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures, and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
  • Machinery Maintenance: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and coordinate staff to meet the needs of the farm.
  • General Farm Duties: Perform general farm duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the farm.
